THE CHALLENGE
CESIDA asked us to create a disruptive viral campaign to raise awareness of the importance of HIV testing for people engaging in high-risk sexual practices. Risk behaviors are an increasing problem in our country. Due to the lack of information among the target audience, HIV testing is essential to reduce uncertainty and control the disease.

"RECÁRGATE DE VIDA" EFFECTIVE
AND AWARD-WINNING CAMPAIGN
CESIDA’s screening campaign for early HIV detection, 'Recárgate de vida', was done in partnership with Gilead. The initiative earned us a bronze medal in the 2018 Laus awards, one of the most prestigious design awards in Spain.
The award committee commended us on the "Casual treatment of a thorny issue through 16-bit video game codes, which were relatable for the intended target
of the campaign." We simulated a video game in which our protagonist had risky encounters that raised his “uncertainty bar” of a possible infection. In the game, getting tested allows you to reduce your level of uncertainty and recharge your life.
